Welcome to the The Octopad Open, an intermural, bsports tournament for the Hexadecipad, a sixteen-player interface for the NES!

In this intramural, bsports event Patrick LeMieux and Stephanie Boluk invite you to compete on the Hexadecipad, a new sixteen-player alt ctrl interface for the Nintendo Entertainment System that turns classic head-to-head games like Tetris, Tecmo Bowl, and TMNT: Tournament Fighters into team-vs-team tournaments!

The Octoapd Open will run for three days in New York. At NYU Game Center on Thursday, November 6 from 5:30-7:00PM; Boshi's Place on Friday, November 7 from 7:00-11:00PM; and Wonderville on Saturday, November 8 from 3:00PM-8:00PM you can test drive the Hexadecipad and register your team for the The Octoapd Invitational, a single elimination tournament at No Quarter 2025 on November 22.

The Prize? An Octopad for a New York institution of your choice!
